Call for Papers: Conceptual and Methodological Aspects of Biomedical Research

The international conference “Conceptual and Methodological Aspects of Biomedical Research” aims to address topics in basic biological and biomedical research as well as translational research. This also includes reflections on particular diseases and/or therapies.

We invite submissions from philosophers, biomedical researchers and medical doctors on any topic pertaining to any area of biomedical research (with the exception of bioethics). Possible topics include (but are not limited to):

– Evidence and evidence-based medicine

– Bias and values
– Health care and science policy
Abstracts of no more than 500 words should be prepared for blind review and submitted via email to , no later than 31 January 2020. Please include your name and full affiliation in the body of the email, not in the abstract.
